i exceeded 1k in april. maybe 1.2-1.4k (not just 120 ML, got spa with top up, got FL in the mix also). i’m an above average earner i think. so it is not like it felt that i had to cut back on other stuff from my daily life, but i feel i went overboard la.
so i’m gonna cut back this May and going forward. Ideally i think i’d wanna keep to maybe 600-700 so about half of my april romps.
i told myself wanna chiong can, but must also to cultivate discipline and spend responsibly.
My view is quite pointless to compare how much other people are spending on vice on average. This is self deceiving form of justification if you read that another person spent more than yourself. Even if 2 person draws same paycheck, they are unlikely to have the same financial commitments. Golden rule is, if you start to feel you are overspending on these activities, then yes, you should start to cutback on it.

I don’t think u shld quit. This 1k u spend could be your happiness level. Once you stop you might feel there’s smth missing and that could lead you to spend even more or smth else.
