Haven't been here for a long time. Planning a trip to BKK early next month, yeah i heard but my colleagues there assured me it was safe. After the daily bang the last time round, its about time to return to the place. Await my report when I get back
I didn't want to stay at the company appointed hotel this time round cause its more personal then work so I have to pay for most of the trip. The company hotel is Swissotel at Ratchadapisek Road(yeah location is good) but its expensive, SGD$200+ a night and not girl friendly. Can someone recommend a cheaper Hotel near that place? I was looking at The Emerald Hotel. Anyone know if that one is girl friendly? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My appointed hotel by the company used to be Century Park Hotel very near to my regional office in Gypsums Tower but I manage to convince my company to add another hotel into the list just in case the only company hotel is fully booked...so I managed to get in The Emerald Hotel as a alternative and stay there ever since....as those days Sparks Disco is THE happening place for me...hahhahahaah!
Well, the Emerald Hotel is yes/no girl friendly hotel as all you need is to add another 600 baths for the additional "guest".
I will share another experience with bros here especially those who are married like me..., as I registered as Mr. & Mrs. ( to avoid the additional charges)......it is the same price for twin sharing or single and 2 breakfast free everyday.....so you can invite your guest to have breakfast before she goes off in the morning but then there is another "big" and serious problem....which my financial manager points to me in a whispering manner......."I didn't know that your wife is a Thai.......?" and he walks away smiling and passed me back with a copy of my hotel bill.
Stated there Mr.Playman and Mrs.Playman Vicira Nittiporn Sinorn.........wtf....it is the midnight "guest" name of which they registered appears in your bill as well.....so cheongsters and bros....please keep this in mind ....... lucky for me...the financial manager is a cheongster as well.......phewwwww!

if u ask me i really dun see any point in paying additional 600baht for guest fee, stretch over 4 nites ur paying 2400baht which is quite alot of additional unneccessary costs
besides the nice lobby and the previous but closed disco, i really couldnt recall making use of any of theur amendities tat r worth mentioning, unless ur there with ur love ones or to be someone u wanna impress otherwise i think Hip or Palazzo are still fine and much value for money
