My opinion of whether Singapore sucks is not of any consequence. I am just quoting what I read and what ICA is not following. Plain and simple.
seriously follow what? that tell the love struck guys their girls aren't the holy virgin incarnates the punters been believing as ?
remind me again what they must show and didn't show you?
oh wait, you did show the law
now where does it say ica is answerable to YOU ?
they shall explain to the person being denied entry, and if that sweet heart Stealer doesn't ask ica why so,because she knows why, or spins a different yarn to you, what, you want ica to do family counseling in better communication?
cue the example I told .. 'I was kicked out on another passport, not this one ....'
good luck in getting the truth .. you may not be able to handle the truth ..
when you are love struck life will seem unfair ... solution? grow up and get real and if reality sucks, move to another place ...
hope no love is lost here

I think you are the one who needs to grow up. which part of my previous posts said that this was my experience or about me? You are making very far fetched assumptions.
Did I offend you with my post? May I ask why you are feel so frustrated in life that you need to get aggressive and take it out on some random stranger on the internet? Please choose one or more of the following options:
- Lost too much on football the past two weeks?
- Your father abandoned you when you were very young?
- Wife / girlfriend cheated on you?
- Your dick is 2cm long?
- No semblance of a real social life you need to make up by accumulating "goodwill" reputation points on a commercial sex forum to make yourself feel better?
*come I clap for you, 1926 points sipei satki lei!*
Go wank to some gay porn or stick a dildo in your butt if you are feel so frustrated. You need some relief, seriously.

Thanks for the update..... I agree this is very good information.
But at the same time it's oso scary with the advances of modern technology..... someday we will turn into Robocop country where everything is controlled by technology and humans become redundant or are only required to follow instructions and just press buttons.
Your government is very efficient. I learnt from my motorsikal kakis who are policemen that they sometimes send requests to the SPF to use their screening facilities as the data from Singapore is more detailed, updated and accurate.

I thought the two police forces have a common shared database? That's what my friend from PID told me.
My wife and 1st kid is on LTVP currently and she is pregnant.
The PR application is currently under consideration from ICA. Prior to the submission, she was not pregnant.
Does declaring her pregnancy and out intention to have the baby here increases the chances of PR? Is this new information that should be revealed the ICA since they are still on the PR consideration stage?

Thank You
Pregnancy will be considered but not merit.. most impt is the family income...

Thanks for the reply.. My last income tax return was more than $120k. They only gave her a 1 year LTVP. Not even a 3 years or LTVP+ So i suspect it is not income related only..
Actually my hopes are not high for this PR. Seems like getting LTVP is also difficult. And she is clean. Nvr commit any crimes or did anything in Singapore before plus she is educated.
Just not sure why the government wants to tekan own singaporeans by making our lives difficult even for my legit spouse to be together with me. Really feel can let in so many PR and workpass/work permit cannot let spouse come in longer.

Dont know what rationale..
If first time u got LTVP , u shd get PR soon. I got it after 3 yrs. Let us know the good new in future..

if you apply first time for your wife then yes chances are the ICA will issue you one year and not 3 yrs...this can be renewed easily...ICA wants to make sure that both are real marriages and not those sham cases which were highlighted recently...also make sure you continue to earn your 120k income tax return yearly or higher...
you should already knew that you have to go thru all the process of applying LTVP, PR and then citizen if you marry a foreigner wife...if you are not prepared then too bad...

If you are a Citizen, your wife will be considered for LTVP + automatically, if not, on your next renewal they will award LTVP +
As for the following statement,
Really feel can let in so many PR and workpass/work permit cannot let spouse come in longer.
well, PRs are in the same boat, if not worse, as Citizens, and spouse / children of PRs are not eligible for LTVP+ .. Plus rejection of Long term of PRs dependants is super high.. some even having been here for dozen years, cannot bring their spouse over except for short visits ..
And now extremely very few PRs are successful in getting their parents on LTVP, vs the ease of EP holders .. (unless the PR is a Malaysian)
In fact, the beneficiaries of the policy until recently was those on EP, could even bring in Parents, Parents in Law .. as they get the Dependant pass etc from MOM, not ICA. Spouses find it very easy to get a letter and start working in Subway, Macdonalds and all ..
And for PR, for your spouse, don't worry, it's just a process. As long as she has LTVP it is good .. unless you are planning to get her to work, hang in there .. at the most 3 years of LTVP for spouse of Citizen is a general yard stick to get her to be PR/Citizen

Thank you all for the kind words and advices. Guess there was a little frustration in me as well as i see fewer Singaporeans everywhere i go. There's so much differences between 10 years ago and now. That's off topic for now though.
So i guess this PR application should be down the drain then. Got to wait 3 years if that's the norm. She's not interested in giving up her Taiwan and Canadian nationality for ours so i suppose PR is the furthest we will go for her.
Again just want to express my thanks to the community here for advising me on this matter.
