Ya...Hk is such a borely and expensive place. Been to The Boss recently. The gals there looks like "dogs". Need to close "both eyes" to pick a gal.

Except for the expensive food, in general the food is really fark-up. All similar food taste alike. Eg. all beef noodle in HK taste 100% alike, machaim like they used a common recipe and come from the same kitchen. All other food in HK is so adjusted to their local taste (non spicy) that it is far from it's original taste. eg the Hunan, Sichuan, Thai food. Even their Teochew food taste so Cantonese....so boring. Knn....I really can't stand having instant noodle for breakfast. Their "shared table" style and the deafening noise in Hk restaurants encourage me to "ta-pao" and eat in the office. Sorry...sorry for all the complains.......on HK.

On the other hand, the food and restuarants in SZ and GZ is so yummy and comfy ....so much variety to choose from, so comfortable ans spacious, so good service and yet so cheap. That's part of the reason why I decided our base to be in SZ rather than HK.

Red Lion ?? You mean "Xiong Shi" or Lion Hotel in English right ?
From the brochure in the hotel room, the charges in the KTV are a lot cheaper than Amazon. I did went to survey the KTV room, it's looks ok for me though not as new and nice decor as Amazon's. I did saw some of the gals who were then reporting to work around 2000 by the "back" entrance of the hotel. The quality seem quite good. Please post FR after your visit. It's very convenience if you are staying in Lion Hotel. I'm kken to try it too.

Saloon- Your are right. There is an apartment block just right next to the New Century Hotel with some Vietnamese. The mamasan is Zhu Zhi tel : 138-2690-7502. She got about 20 mei mei including some not bad looking Vietnamese. Price: 200/250 for st and 500rmb for o/n. Please give FR if you happen to go.

I've seen some units in Huang Jin Hai An, the development is quite well designed. Location wise, the main advantage is that it is very near the Lowu Custom and Railway station.

But the surrounding is quite "cold", not vibrant at all.

Suggest to look around more...there are so many alternative available.

Yap as per your advice i will look around more also. Some of the condos are much more green.....alot more flora...nicer also. But for me location to the LOWU is damn important. Huang Jin Hai An is tokong in that aspect.

However in Dongmen area got some top condo also but i think location-wise lose out.

Best condos in SZ are not really in "city area" and cheaper also....

I visited the saloon next to Century. It is the provisional shop next to century and the owmer is called Kent. Saw some viet girls but looks average. I read in a forum where some Taiwanese commented that some of the Viet girls perform very good service and will lick your whole body. Probably the time I went is quite early not much choice.

At night, took dinner at a seafood restaurant near Lucky Hotel. After dinner, went to Red Lion to check the prices. Minimum charges for small room is RMB188 plus RMB100 for room rental. Cheaper than Amazon. Can also sit at the bar counter, minimum charge RMB100. The girls all gather at the bar counter. Quality not bad. Because I am with some lady friends, so no point to pay few hundreds to sit at the bar counter and the rooms were full.

Talking about condo, I am also keen to buy one in SZ. I only seen those condos in Huanggang or near Sha Tsui and Xia Sha. Price quite expensive around RMB800 per sq ft. I like the place is because near Huanggang and I can get back to HK any time I like plus convenient to bring girls back. Prices will likely to drop as the government will put measures to cool down the economy.

For KTVs, if I go alone and don't want a room, do I pick the girls from the bar area? Is short time, 1 hour and 1 shot? What about overnight, how many shots are allowed? If they are geared for HK guys, I assume most managers speak Cantonese?

Is the train station safe at night if you travel by youself? What would be the cost from GZ (city centre) by taxi to CP? How long will it take?

For the sauna, I suggest you try the one in Lion hotel as it is owned by the hotel and they would not harass you. Call the supervisor's (number given)at least 15 minute before going down for her to arrange a nice room for you. The routine is slightly different from Macau. It's more private as many of their customer wish to remain "unseen" by others . You will be escorted by the supervisor to a "private room" with steam or sauna facilities in the bathroom once you arrive the place. From there drinks and fruits will be served. They will nornally bring in four gals at a time for you to pick. Once you pick the gal you wanted, she will shower and have fun with you in the "steaming" fascilites. The clock only start counting when you both are on bed and ready for fun. The time spend on the activites in the shower and steam bath are not counted.

The gals in the sauna can spend more time with after work if you guys got the same "chemistry". Overnight is possible.

For KTV, if you are alone. I suggest you sit at the "show area" or bar counter. The charges is about 100rmb and the mamasan is more than happy to supply you the gals. Remember in CP, you need not tip the mamsan. Better still you go pick the gals yourself from the women street (area where the gals gathered). The price is the same 2-5-8.

There is no hard and fast rule. It's all come down to money. No problem, you can fire two shots or more for a short time even in the sauna whiich I did before. To be fair pay her around 200 rmb more for the second shot loh... In CP many people can speak Cantonese more so than SZ than GZ. But Pu tuo hua or mandarin is still the most widely used language.

At night, travel by train is still very safe. I 've done that many time. Morever, the Lion hotel and the sauna can pick and send you to/from the train station FOC. Just give the supervisor a call. She will do all the arrangement.

From GZ to CP by train the journey will take about 30 minutes. If by car it will take about 1 hour. Depending on the traffic condition. By taxi, I think the price is between 150 to 200 rmb. You need to bargain. In China, the price for all long distance travel by taxi are subject to negotiation.....

If you going CP from GZ why not you go CP in the evening like said 1700 by train when the sky is still not dark yet (you may feel more secure). Stay one night in Lion hotel only 150rmb per night. Have fun in the sauna and the ktv (Amazon or Lion). Return to GZ the next morning by train. The first train from CP to GZ start at 0654...then 0801, 0901,0939 etc.....you will be able to start work in GZ the next day without any disruption......

Just join one of our session then you will know how to be on yourself. The train is quite safe but you still need to be very careful in every part of China.

Most KTVs have the bar counter but no privacy if you take the girls. MY advise is if you are alone, try the saloons.

There are so many new and unsold condo in SZ. The price are quite high too. Hopefully the Chinese government measures to cool down the economy will bring the price down somewhat.

By the way, the Huanggang cross-point is getting "bad" nowaday more like Lowu especially on the Chinese side. Very often we are made to "wait" in the bus for as much as 20 minutes before we are allow to join the Q. The Chinese immigration station is too small to handle the incoming traffic now. If nothing is done, this cross-point may be worse than Lowu.

Getting taxi from the SZ side is another problem esp during peak hours. Min 15 minutes Q before can get a taxi.....

So I 'm really not sure if buying a condo near the Huanggang area is a good choice ???

His theory on buying two properties killed many hkeys at this moment of market boom. More than 30% of properties owner in Hk now are in "fu Zi chan" ie. negative assest and yet have to serve the loan to the bank every month.... I think this theory can easily backfire if the market reversed. Got to careful......

Thats why my cousin advised me to play the market there only when i got spare cash to pay in one shot. Dun need to be at the mercy of the banks or interest rates when u are down and out.

The investments in the condos there are not really lucrative. Rental earned in renting out your apartment will go only towards service the payments but dun expect much appreciation of the value of the condos.

Well.....spoken to another of my singapore contact who has bought some properties there. He did it because of income tax issues with Singapore, fuck the Singapore goverment. I rather spend it on properties in China than to bring back the money home and be taxed.

Anyway the units i am eyeing at is not expensive, the latest quote it is about S$105,000.00 per unit if i pay in one shot per unit.

My idea of investing there is this, buy one for my personal use (fucking and staying and keeping a gf) and buy another one which will pay for itself via the rental.

I will have 2 x condos in China for my own personal use.....i intend to uproot and move over there within the next 10yrs....
