depending on where u stay lor, if nearby just go geylang hotel 81, fragrance hotel..most hotel min 2hrs la..should be less than $50 for min 2hrs..i always carry my Nric when check in, physical Nric is better if u ask me.. any bros try before digital singpass, does the hotel accept..

Most of the budget hotels I know is 2 hours. If you want it to be longer you can just book 4 hours. There are whole night rates also.
Depends on the time of they day. Some Geylang food stalls, depending on which side you are at, should be open til late but Tiong Bahru is only good if you go eat before 730pm. Some of their hipster cafes close super early but restaurants open til 9pm or so.
Can try hotels near Sim Lim, Jalan Besar. Their Malay restaurants nearby open til late. Hotel 81 Chinatown has roadside stalls and can see street lanterns. If want to be more "romantic", can walk further to Clarke Quay or Fullerton Bay Hotel area after your battle with her.
To solve the food issue, just order grab and eat in hotel lor.
Last time I tried H81 like a few years ago price was 30$ for 2 hours, tried Fragrance Hotel @ Ocean view recently (on weekend) and price was $55ish for 2 hours? Is this norm or weekend surchage?

Fragrance Hotel Ocean View 1 year ago was $40/2 hrs. Could be price went up

I was charged $47 on Sunday, Fragrance Hotel @ Ocean view. It is still expensive. Oh no, they increased again to $55?
The $40 was weekend. I dont know if there is surcharge or not but it is daytime.

Ya I chose that one because it is the only one I know in the west.
I remember passing a 50 dollar notes, and received 3 dollar change. I went to Oceanview very early at 8.30am. Maybe you went there during peak hours.
Oh I paid by card, but recalled got $50 onwards, went at around 5pm? is that peak hours lol. thought sunday means sunday , whole day same charge, or they charge differently on timing lol
