strange thing now is FL can come but most WL kena turned back by HaiGuan

depart. those FL probably got approval in the name of studies .
Apparently application for SG yellow card is not seen as valid.

Recently I met 2 rather interesting PRC ladies. One via massage while the other one is in beauty services. Sharing here because they are here not to earn money like a typical prc beautician or massage lady. They are here due to the economic effects of covid in China.

The massage lady went to a neighbourhood clean joint with no curtains. The key selling point are the super low prices and she is busy almost the entire day. $30 per hour for foot massage. So I asked her over wechat why she didn't choose a MP with HJ. At least can earn more money.

She shared that due to Covid, her business failed and she owe creditors RMB $2 million. She came to Singapore to work to escape her creditors. Unlike the Pte Ltd companies in Singapore, she cannot limit her exposure to $1 or $2 like in our Pte Ltd companies. She also said that the laws are different in China. If she refuse to pay, she will have a criminal record and may find it harder to live in China in future. So she escaped to Singapore to work and repay the debt via monthly instalments. She doesn't know HJ joints exist before coming over. She chose the fastest way to leave China.

The 2nd lady is a businesswoman in Shanghai. Shanghai's lockdown was very harsh on a single woman. She cannot take it and decide to leave as soon as she can. As other cities in China may go into lockdown anytime, she chose to leave and come to SG. In SG, she can manage her business in various PRC cities remotely and still enjoy her personal freedom. As earning money in SG was never her concern, she overpriced her services so that we Singaporeans will seldom engage her services. In this way, she can get the best of both worlds

Always expect the unexpected when we talk to PRCs... they really think very differently.
