Bros, as someone who lives in Shanghai, I can 100% confirm that the city is not worth coming for play. Posting just so less bros walk into landmines.

Ever since the mayor changed before covid they swept the city over and over, then it got absolutely destroyed during covid. Thats why the prices are mad, and the places so few. All sorts of membership, tg bait and switch, siao price to play. Might as well just have fun in sg.

Suggest bros don't expect so much in Shanghai and try club pickup. Better you thick skin get rejected than you pay le have to reject sticky hippos or got scam

FR for Yong Li KTV

Recently 3-4 of the high end KTVs in Shanghai closed due to police raids, and so the high quality hostesses have been going to Yong Li KTV (a mid-high end KTV) to tide over this period.

Can easily expect 400-500 hostesses per night. It is full house almost every night. Hourly rate for hostesses is 600 RMB, booking rate around 2.4K RMB.

All in for the other expenses is a only few K RMB, depending on how many pax. If mid size group, other expenses may only be 1K RMB.

Playability depends on the girl but if you choose correctly generally kissing, touching, hugging, should be allowed.

This is the most value for money option now as you can get high end hostesses for only mid end price.

Agree,nice FR of the local KTV scene in the midst of ongoing annual raids. Shanghai still have the most stable scene amongst entire PRC. I believe this agent from 阿城很会玩 in YouTube where he can 组团 with other bros if you are Lone Ranger. Probably one the lowest rate in Shanghai at 1k RMB per pax. 600/hr will keep the WL on their toes with max tip 3.5 to 4K. I guess overall price cheaper than SG high KTV like K palace and quality is top notch.

I went high end 天上人间 in 静安区 last month total damage 1.7k drink (two Martell and free flow of beer) on weekday plus 3.5k tips arrived early at 8pm and start playing from 8.30pm to 3.30am..some bros played until 5-6 am but i got to work the next day..hope to chiong with you someday bro

My local friends told me Shanghai still the 花花世界 after Covid but just be prepared to pay the high price. Clubbing scene is probably stagnant post covid given the fact economy have not recovered fully and clubs are flooded with WL known as 红包妹 available to 陪玩 from nearby KTV who may not get picked during the earlier lineup. Whiskey bar like Deep Whisky Club(淮海东路店) operate like KTV concept with bar counter, open concept and room. The only difference is lower sitting fee and playability for those to burn money. Another bro of mine recce INS新乐园 at 复兴公园 and comment hard to pick up locals 江浙沪 who are probably more stuck up and less friendly compared to other provinces.

TLDR - FR for top KTVs in Shanghai; limitless supply of top beauties

I was in Shanghai recently for a business trip and spent a few nights at two top tier KTVs. The prices at the top tier KTV are only slightly lower than the top tier KTVs in Singapore, but the quantity and quality there are significantly better. For a start, there are 400-500 girls in each top-tier KTV, which means about 40-50 line ups. You can keep seeing line after line of girls non-stop until you are satisfied. All of the girls are at least 8/10, there are quite a few 9/10s, and there are a handful of 10/10s that are seriously prettier than China movies stars, idols, models and influencers (I kid you not). My standards are very high so when I say they are 10/10 it is because their looks are so perfect there is really nothing to criticize at all. The prettiest girls that you will ever see in your life can all be found in Shanghai and Hangzhou KTVs.

The best part about Shanghai KTVs is that they have the pay per hour system for the hostesses, so if they don’t give you good service, you can change them any hour, or if you want to have variety, you can also keep changing.

On the first visit I sat a girl that offered to go out with me for free. She was 8/10 head-turner pretty, and very hot, but as it was my first visit I wanted to see if I could get a 9/10 or 10/10 so I changed her after 1 hour. I later sat a 9/10 but she never goes out, so I ended up not eating supper. In hindsight I should have just brought the first girl out for supper for free. The girl that my friend chose was into me and wanted to bring me clubbing for free, but I told her I would arrange another time with her as she wasn’t really my cup of tea.

On the second visit I had a 9/10 tall and pretty girl that sat with me the whole night and went out with me for supper, but I had to pay for supper.

On the third visit I went very late so there were only around 100-200 girls left, which is still more than the total quantity of the top Singapore KTVs. I saw a 10/10 girl but she doesn’t eat supper. There was a 8/10 girl who quite liked me and with whom I exchanged contacts but I didn’t sit her in the KTV. As I didn’t find anyone suitable, I asked the 8/10 girl if she wanted to hangout for free and she agreed. We went for dinner, went to a non-hostess KTV to sing, and then went to eat supper.

All in all, Shanghai is expensive, but still better value for money than Singapore, and there you will find the best quality in the entire world, except maybe Hangzhou.
