Yup agree bro. Some of it will contain some truth. How much of it is the truth weaved in between deception , we may never know.
To be fair, sometimes when WL ask me about me, I will evade and Siam from the truth. Lazy to explain, or purely wish not to be to reveal too much about myself.
Those WL whom I grown close to will roughly know which part of my life I don't wish to share.
So I guess it's the same with them. So really to prevent awkwardness, I just take what they say at face value.

If it's the truth , then guess I know a little bit more info about them. If they are spinning some tales, then I guess just enjoy their companionship.

To really believe everything they say, puts me in a very vulnerable position and creates too much of emotional attachment. Well, thats just my opinion.

it is "face" thing coupled with the facebook/instagram culture. While rich Singaporeans may love to go low-key, in the WLs countries especially the more countryside, it is considered okay to flaunt it. And with the easy earnings from GL, why not.

Those Vietnamese turned Singaporean working in the market stall and HDB shops, whenever I see them go back Vietnam, it is like a must to wear gold jewellery, use the latest iPhone pro max, LV handbag and buy good gifts. Heck, even wearing the legit white crocs is considered a must-have now for them. The poultry stallowner near my place, his wife is Vietnamese, apparently they only fly SQ or Vietnam Airlines, budget airlines they don't even take

This is how they gain respect in their social circles. We may think it is quite foolish in SG context but that is how their culture works

There is one lady I will always remember.... she is not from GL but an ML from the Massage thread. She was here only for short stint @ 2 months and we clicked during her stay here.... RTM her every week.
I was shocked when she revealed her occupation back in PRC..... policewoman. And she is still employed when she was here in SG moonlighting as ML. Initially I did not believe her but prior to leaving she gave me her social media contact.... which showed her life story from school to policewoman..... and the posts/ photos continued after she RTC and she resumed her policing duties.

PRC 公安 have 28 days of leave per year which can be carried into the next year if unconsumed. Furthermore they are entitled to replacement leave if they are recalled for duty on their rest days. So to accumulate 60 days of leave is not difficult.

For this topic of occupation before selling sex, no need to stay to legal houses only right? It's a generic question. Many of the ML now were restaurant owners in PRC. Post covid, their economy went downhill and these owners owe a lot of money. Worldly wise 老板娘 type. Trying to save up to restart their business.

Have known an ex-siambu. Earned her bucket of money in GL and invested in property. Buy and sell in the cycle...now a millionaire in thai baht term. She kua pua...dun wan poochai..stayed single since then...we became good friends once in a while contact one another with well wishes...
