So to speak, i always campare the final prices across all 3 budget airlines before i book whenever i need to fly. Never be fooled by the initial ticket price.

e.g: Alot of times its cheaper to fly airasia to bkk than Tiger due to Airasia having a much cheaper airport tax n admin fee.

Also, nowadays if you need to travel to HCM or BKK on short notice, can try SQ as they have quite abit of promo and they are cheaper than budget

Why deal with those immigration officers in Budget Terminal or T1, 2 and 3? Some are just plain idiots asking you stupid questions. If you're a Singaporean just use the automatic clearance gate. Self service is the best!

I fully agreed with you...I will only take Tiger if really really no choice...I have taken Tiger for my Shenzhen flights but now Silkair is having quite comparable prices..At least the fares for silkair is very transparent, what you see is what you pay, no hidden cost like Tiger....Maybe Tiger airways should change its Motto to Crouching TIGER and Hidden PRICES..

When check in baggage...unless the seats are done in the same booking. The ground staff dont allow combine weight... Insist that the weight has to be account for separately...... Charging for any excess weight for one.

Tiger is really Cheap Skates.....

yeah, they r super strict abt the luggage weight(both check-in as well s hand carry) in sg, as for sz, they also strict for check-in but not strict when u hand carry!

usually if u look decent enuff, and have extra weightage to add on u can approach those who are under weight to help, but the staff will discourage the other person by warning that they are responsible for what is in your bag as well!

really stoop so low to make more $ from us!

But sometimes I also see some passengers with very bad habits..The hand carry is only 7kg allowance but can see some carrying their bags certainly more than 7kg and in the end, when they board the plane, their bags not only take up their own overhead cabin compartment, but some of yours as well..If you board late, or slower than the rest, you can forget about using the cabin compartment..
