Assume a choice of 100 FTs who are as good as you, but cheaper. Employer will? Get it? ..Maybe our children will need immigrate like their fore-fathers once again for better life.

I honestly welcome FTs but only the right ones. I think certain amount of FT is needed for the progress of Singapore.

As for jobs, yes maybe you are talented, skillful and superior but what about the rest of the 99% Singaporeans? Yes you are 100% Singaporean and proud but do your employers think this way when you hitting your 40s and 50s?

Also what about your children? can you 100% be sure they are just as talented, superior, skillful as you? Also we am not talking about 3rd or 4th generation here, currently our responsibilities is to ensure our later generations' future. And at least ensure we do not screw up the CPF of Singaporeans.

Singapore is a beautiful place: safe, secure, good mixture of religion and race. But we are heading the way of HK's style of housing and wide rich-poor divide with very little social security, and rising cost of living like Taiwan. Do we want our country to be like that?

Anyway bro, you have your right to vote, and I respect whatever your decision but I really hope you see what going on in the country.

My son graduated last yr. Took him almost 6 mths to get a perm job. But 5 of his Uni peers are still doing temp job. Whereas so many FTs are holding EP and SP.

There are many loop holes and garment just turn blind eye until whistle blower come into the picture then they investigate.

as for my opinion..this coming GE is the most exiting and challenging one..I guess the most limelight is Marine Parade GRC and Macpherson SMC..But why did the NSP came into three corners fight? They shd contest in the West side of Spore!! I am certain tat Aljunied GRC is sill in the hands of WP..And also another new opposition party..Singfirst...Anyway, all the best to PAP..

I kan your pua views on the foreign talent view. You must have lived in a very comfortable life in Sg. Do you know what is the average salary out there now? Ok lah fucking 2nd and 3rd gen got study. Most uni or poly. But what about the rest?

Do you know the average salary out there is $6 to $8 an hour? Most companies tell you fuck off if you do not want. They can hire a China or Indian worker for $4 to $5 and hour. You local i still must give u cpf.

Inferior complexity disorder? I fuck you. Back than when I was studying. My family only father work. Not enough. He born 60s never study. The govt give me money? I had to study in the noon. Work a fucking solid 8h at night for $6.50/h 11 pm to 7am shift work. Sleep 1h and go to school. After sch have to stand in mrt and bus cannot sleep at all. Got to rush home to sleep for 2h than go to work again. Its a factory job. Every fucking day. No companies giving higher pay cause they can easily take up FT.

You should have told your son to join the PAP Youth while he was in University..... all of them were able to get offers of employment within 1 month of graduation..... and only those that did not want to work remained unemployed. Everyone else got a job regardless of their results or ability as long as they remained with the movement.

for many years liao, pinoy and india indian select their own people for employment irregardless of quality. local people i know have suffer from that. when pinky said sorry and he will reduce FT, it is all BS, past few years was still easy for foreigner who earning 6k and above to get work permit, within 24hr can get it. except around last year onward, they slow it down.

If the govt dares. Why don't publish the cost of building a block of hdb? Than we see the 300k to 500k price tag is correct mah?

Time changes my friends. I dont think there is problem in 3 parties contests. My feelings Tin P L is preparing to return to her gov jobs in 2016. There4 her estate become a SMC with 3 corners actually, the ruling party is unable to secure the highest votes.

By the way, Tin P L esates is near to PT and GL. Thats one of her problem she did not look into in her 5 years at the house. Probably she did not serve rather she did not do her jobs. In local terms she is "white taking $" in English she is below average in performance.

Now, past 2 years I notice Companies are reducing expats. It is not so much as costs savings. It is this FTs CMI plus fooling around in this country. Male FTs trying to hook up a local girl, hoping to marry into this country. His wife family will approach MPs for help in granting PR. However, I think a small group is rejected bec of crime records back at hometowns.

Thats the time where the ball is in born locals court. Work intelligent and no reasons co even gov sectors dont pay us high salaries. This anti FTs elements may carry onwards till 2050. HR agencies know there is rejection by co of the FT that is shortlisted. Even if they reduce the salary, no co is dumb to invest in expats that CMI.

What you really want is for them to guarantee you a good life. or your children/parents/pets. but deep down, you want someone else take care of you.

vote opposition all you want. if you believe they have better ideas and better policies than the pap.

the reality of politics in singapore is like our telco situation. 3 big players all providing basic service and shit customer service but every year still make our money.

why? it's because no one has figured out a better way to run a telco for customers. so they can think for themselves first.

last time i voted sdp as a protest vote. now i know better. it doesnt matter who i vote. not until someone can put forward a better manifesto and have enough candidates to remove the pap from power.

if you all have better policy ideas than the pap but dont want run, then find a way to feed wp/sdp/your oppo party of choice with that idea lor.

i dream of the day an entire generation of govt scholars set up their own pol party to challenge the pap. and i'm working towards that dream in my own small way. =)
