TS, you cannot win an argument online...proven tons of times in SBF...always easier to give silent treatment...when you silent the person who attacked you looks foolish...
Also as TS of a thread, you should welcome all views...both negative and positive views...
Even if anyone had zapped me...I just kept quiet and move on...no longer keen to fight or retaliate...better things to do with my time...

Bro lost99, these are very nice knowledge sharing. Again your help and advice is highly appreciated. I have been benefited from your post since long time back from Jakarta thread. Thumbs up to you all along!

Unless u are super duper unlucky, most immigration dun bother about condoms... I have my luggage scanned hundreds time n no one stop me for having condoms As for porn, unless u bring 10, 20 pieces of DVDs, most will not stop, ask u to boot up your laptop n inspect what is in it.
I took my medication once n was stopped but after inspecting the packaging with the label, it was fine to go thru. Guess a lot of ppl will pack a small first aids box when traveling oversea. If u are confident with your reply, the immigration will not want to detain u.
Anyway as long as u know u did not break the law, maybe waste a bit of time answering their questions, u should be alright to go thru.

1. Know the country's immigration law
Certain activities/substances allowed in some countries cannot be allowed in others. For example, I may have certain perscription drug perfectly legal in my country, but not allowed in others (i have had these drugs destroyed upon arrival before). Also certain activites (i.e. prostitution) are allowed in some, but prohibitied in others. Knowing the law will let you know what you can do, and what you can say to a customs officer.
2. Prepare your story to tell Immigration
If you are travelling for Business, you should have documents, meetings, schedule setup to show the officer. If for vacation, tell the officer your itinerary, the cities you plan to visit etc.. When i travel for tourism, I tell them the cities and locations i am visiting, along with the foods and restaurtants i am going. Knowing your story in advance will help you tell the officer without getting nervous or looking suspicious.
3. Do not get nervous, act confident
I had a friend who worked at border patrol briefly, and the biggest indicator they use to locate suspicious traveller is those who have a strange story, and act nervous. They are less likely to search and detain people who have a reasonable story, and act calm and confident. Most people who are not doing anything wrong have no need to act nervous. This is just the facts, if you are a nervous person just try work on your demeanor with other strangers.
4. Be prepared to be asked any random questions
Customs/immigration will ask you any question to try "rattle" you and make you nervous. If they see condoms and porn, they may ask " you here to cheong" etc... Just be prepared to answer such questions, and make sure your answers correspond with your story above. The more your answers diverge from your story, the more likely you will be detained longer for further questioning. The purpose of detaining and making people wait hours, is to make them nervous and uncomfortable, and more likely to confess any wrongdoing if they have done something illegal. I've been detained for hours before, and let go when they don't find anything.
5. Do not carry any potentially offending items, or 'red flag' items
Don't carry any items which may raise 'red flags' with customs or immigration. Things which may look like 'drugs' (powders), liquids, condoms, porn, pictures and videos on your phone. Delete, erase, and leave them at home. Don't carry large stacks of cash (you have to report large amounts usually over 10,000 USD anyways). Customs can search anything in your belonging, and ask you questions based on that. They usually ask you about any unusual belongings to make you nervous and confess if you are doing anything illegal.
6. Be polite, honest, and straightforward with the Officer
This is obvious. People who are rude and insult the officer, can get detained, searched, fined, and possibly arrested. Officers are given broad legal powers to question and search anyone who comes into their country to preserve national security. They usually have a 'power trip' so best not to combat them or they will make your life miserable.

Good information shared here, just wish to add to the solution/s for Sillyporean who travels to the more popular asia country around the region :
Since I am already consolidating some Singapore Embassies/Consulate of Indoneisa,so in this post I would just put up some of the other Singapore's Embassies/Consulate in other more popularly traveled-to Asia countries for bros who plan to travel solo, just in case you run into any situation since I believe many countries would likely step up on their security checks to fight against global terrorism. It may not be your turn to suffer the similar experience but who knows it could happen 2morow? Below may not be of any great help at the end of the day but a tiny little help is afterall better than zero help at all.
Singapore embassy/consulate contacts for most major Asia cities
(that i find popular in this Forum)
Safety has always been my number 1 concern,hehehe...hope you guys will find it as useful as much I do.

You are correct. Condoms and porn usually not an issue, however, some Customs officer may ask you about awkward or uncomfortable subjects to try "rattle" you. The bro who msg me, told me the immigration questioned him relentlessly about the condoms and why he brought them, and asked him what he wanted to use them for etc... His nervousness led them to inspect his tablet and HP where they found more naked pics and porn, leading to further questioning and embarrassment.
I've crossed into USA many times, and they are well known for their aggressive customs agents who give everyone a hard time to sniff out potential smugglers:
"Why are you crossing here so late?"
"Why did you bring food?"
"Are you planning on getting a job here?"
"Why are you bringing so much stuff for a day trip?"
Anyways, the more you are prepared to deal with relentless and random questioning, the better off you will be when pressured by a customs/immigration officer.

I do not know much about US custom as I went there once, just after 911. Surprisingly, no issue. Had other opportunities to go but I always reject, cannot take the long hour flight and difficulty adjusting my body clock.
I always encounter difficulty in Australia custom.. Be it in Perth or Melbourne. I am also very reluctance to go there now.

Australian Customs look hard at you, trying to see if you are nervous.

Australia & New Zealand were relatively quite strict on their agriculture. I remember hearing complains on the news before that a fruit knife was able to be brought through the custom but not its wooden scabbard.
Experienced Lao Jiaos: Which Country/City Has The Best Sex Trade/Night Life?
I'm sure some of you have played in various countries before. Would like to know which country/city do you consider as the best for their sex trade/night life?
My grading of the country/city is based on the following;
- Quality of looks
- Quality of GFE (some countries generally have a higher percentage of good attitude girls)
- Variety of pick/different entertainment spots
My personal ranking (of those countries that I have visited before) is as follows;
1) Bangkok (Not easy to find very chio girls outside of Bacarra & Thermae bar, but variety of night spots are plentiful)
2) Osaka, Japan (Tobita Shinchi quality of girls are easily 9-10/10)
3) Korea (Korean girls are hot)
4) Macau
5) Ex-Changping, Dongguan (have not gone there after the clean up)

According to the article below, all pornography illegal in Indonesia, its up to the customs officer if he want to detain and arrest you for it. Better to not bring it, or at least upload to cloud storage:
Lestari Ady Wiryono, head of public information for South Jakarta, said: “The South Jakarta administration takes this matter seriously”.
In Indonesia, all porn is illegal and even public acts of affection are legally dubious since the passing of the Bill against Pornography and Pornoaction.
