Based on my observations, competition is indeed tougher with a large influx of mls recently but 1 thing for sure - they are not intending to reduce prices anytime soon

Most of them will choose to advert aggressively and rest during their idle time, rather than reduce prices. So you still see many mls quoting $50 for hj, top up another $50 for roam. Entrance fees many also try to get customer to take the $88 or 1.5hrs package rather than the standard 1 hr $68.

The only thing we can do as customers is to stand our ground and not succumb to their demands...

I can concur with this "advert aggressively" approach. Just a few days back, I was added randomly into two WhatsApp groups - both advertising 2 particular Spas.

Trace back from 20yrs ago, oni price up & never once is price down, no matter how hard the situation is, the oni concession we hv is perhaps the early bird promotion during the 10am to 2pm session

To say boycott them, dun patronize them will make them bring down the price is juz arabian night, flat dream ..

Not juz no prize down, we will continue to see prize juz keep going up, and up, it oredi happened, tio bo? ..

Speaking the truth, 20 years ago geylang shop make $150 per pop, 20 years later which is today the price didn't up and the money they gain is getting smaller as compared to before.
20 years ago your 5rm flats value at 500k, today the value goes double to 1 mil for 5rm flats.
So chicken trade is reasonable still got $50 dollars per pop.

The spa trade is like housing price keeps going up and never reduce.

So the calculator is with you. MLS or wls? Your choice.
