Of course 30mins is alot of time to travel down from the other end of SG but factoring in the Jam on CTE and PIE i've reached only at 1136 and texted OKT that I was here. He promptly replied that I should proceed to the intended location. However I had to stand at that place while waiting for awhile and its kind of suspicious when you see a guy loitering outside a condo no? Anyways, it turns out Nila went to golden mile for some errands which explains why she was late. So alls well ends well. Same thing happened to me. I messaged Dreamz88 at 9am, 9:30am and 10:30am, asking for Party 8pm.
No response until 11:10 asking me if 7:30pm is ok. Message early is completely useless.

Wow i have to agree with all the post above. I stood outside and waited for 20 min. People coming and going making me look weird as fuck. He decided to just ignore my messages when km there.. wasted my fuggin cab fare too.
There is a residential block a short walk away. Better to wait there, got shade and less obvious to passers-by. After expecting a longer wait, i also go and wait at that block till informed to go up. Of cos, a couple of min will be wasted walking but it's not like i need every minute out of 90 min slot. But waiting too long for the messages, that's irritating. Well, just hope will have improvement soon.

I've always ensured that I dont get left stranded looking suspicious af waiting for confirmation at the location OKT tells me. So my SOP is always to check out location before hand through google maps or gothere.sg. I will usually find a bus stop near by (if there is) to wait before getting confirmation and chiong-ing to the place
Or if you're familiar with the place then all the better, you can always find the best discrete waiting spot aside from the location OKT directs u to, since that location will prob be the most convenient landmark, but may not be the most discrete one.
