In my case its the other way around because i kind of like the surround sound effect i get from those vr headsets with built in speakers especially when it comes to sex but i do get what you mean in that those vr headsets without the built in speakers tend to be less bulky but i guess its each to his own so it really depends what type of vr headset you prefer because end of the day when it comes to vr headsets you should get one that you like and will feel comfortable using
