Now HIV ART medications are part of the standard drug list. So they are subsidized 50% to 75% at polyclinics and re-structured hospitals.
Both generic and patented medicines bought from Thailand are cheaper compared to Singapore. What many patients do is they see a Dr in Singapore and get tests done here then get their meds from outside Singapore.
Some patients follow up with Doctors outside Singapore. But this can be a bit of a hassle if there is an urgent need to see the Doctor.
