Re: A 'work week' in Ko Samui
The office secretary was tasked to coordinate our 'reward'. The engineer asked for a monetary one and the idea of cash vouchers was discussed. I waved it away and as I didn't want a gif voucher which meant I normally don't use it and it goes to some one as a gift later in my life.
The engineer took it. I decided to ask if I could trade the equivalent for a short trip. My mind wandered to visions of coral blue seas, white sands, bikini girls, massage and sex on the beach etc...
My buddy - another trusted co-worker gave me suggestions of Phuket, Ko Phi Phi, Ko whatever names.. Ican't even remember.... Krabi etc...
I wasn't in a hurry and asked the secretary if this can be a on a rain check. She checked with Finance dept and came back to tell me that I had to get this expensed off during the 1st Qtr.
"FUCK!" I cursed under my breath. That means less than 4 weeks to enjoy this.
