The current hotel I stay at, charges only $20(150K) for a standard room, top up $3(20K) and you get a room with bathtub. Good for those who want to soak themselves in a hot bath, alone or together with your booking girl. Of course, there are many hotels charging at different rates. If you are the type who wants more comfort and more in-house entertainment, prepare to pay at least $36(280K) for a decent standard room. The only other hotel I have stayed twice is King Star because of full house at my usual hotel, which charges $20(160K) for a room with bathtub. Not a good hotel, friends told me they saw cockroaches scurrying around the dusty vent in the bathroom. So please skip it.

The most popular is Maximilian hotel, has lifts. I never go Maximilian because it is fully booked most of the time. Another hotel to mention is Hotel Paradise, has a 4-star feel and with lifts. I went with my friends to check it out after breakfast. more.
Bro , i also on budget , care to share which hotel u stay and the cleanliness of the hotel ? Usually which budget resturant you frequent ?

Kingstar is budget but not so comfortable as Gabion. Have to agree on the cleanliness part.

I like Paradise Hotel because is near to my favourite Ba Kut teh and mee store but there is one side of the hotel room where the bed is not so comfortable (the whole bed is make up of 2 single bed, u will feel a line in the middle of the bed) . Not all but some , hope they have change this. Beside that everything was fine. That was a few year back.
