1) Booking hotel rooms. I know most ppl go through travel agencies to book rooms at Hatyai for cheaper rate. My question is if I call the hotel by myself and book the room direct will the receptionist (either male or female) speak English or Chinese well and reserve the room for you? I know book direct is more expensive by 100 to 200 baht but sometimes I think book using travel agencies is a bit of a hassle.
