I never trust a Viet in biz.... I had a sales person in HCMC before, during sales meeting, said until got dragon got tiger, sales coming in this week, that week..... end of the day, wasted 6 months with no sales. In the end asked him to leave, he still mentioned I should be patient, sales is coming in.... deep inside me, another 6 months I also doubt any sales.

No worries as I had know Viet people about 10 years and I do know most people are cunning. I had been to VN many times and had seen and heard so many different incidents. I feel that not many of the vietnamese are not compassionate. They wont remember how you had helped them before. They only see the present. If you are rich, they will curry your favor but once you are in deep shit, they wont lend a helping hand.
I do have a friend open illegal business there. 1st year at SG and HCM he and his boss lost about S$1million. Most people who deal business with them are Viet Bosses. but after lesson learnt they are smarter and even more fierce. Now, they are making big profits in VN from what I know. I remember once when I went to HCM and find him for a drink, when one of the viet bosses cant pay up the losses, immediately my friend take the whole bottle Martel and hit his head. That guy was bleeding and my friend didnt even care and ask him how he going to pay. Later, my friend told me that many of the vietamese do have $ to pay up but they wanted to act blur or eat you as you are not the local here. Furthermore even how close their families ties, Sister may in turn betray her brother and eat all his money away.
