But now 35 years later, the rupiah has devalued more than 7 times to reach S$1 = 7200 rupiah.

But we could see recently most joints have already increased up their cewek price to minimum 500k rupiah exclusive of tips, makan, etc.

As I have said that Batam is becoming more and more expensive. And the day has come where it is just like Johor Entertainment Area (JEA) and Bangkok Nightlife.
For example, if you go to JEA (Pelagi/Taman area) for enjoyment including hotel, KTV, good seafood and booking of girl. Do you realize that the total bills calculate on the market rate is almost the same or even more expensive than S’pore. I used to spent
S$300 per night in S’pore but going to JEA,
S$300 is still not enough. So, bros where is cheaper? And not forgetting the transport and the time spent to travel with jam at causeway…………

In year 2000, I just paid Rp150K for booking of gal and now on average, most bros pay about Rp600K for booking base on this forum report. That means we are paying more than
300% in 10 year now. So the inflation of Batam does not match the raising cost on the services. I think it is really expensive in Batam by itself……..
