hhaha, tell me about the `old TSN airport terminal'. Still remember clearly that only a few airlines fly from Singapore to HCMC. Singapore Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air and Vietnam Air. When Tiger Air started to fly to HCMC, Lion Air stopped for a few years, don't know why... Tiger air was chaotic when it first started as its FREE SEATING, no allocation of seats. All the Viets will rush to board the plane and rush for the first few rows. They will push the old people, kids etc. Its like refugees fleeing the country.
I remember watching a video on one of the US channels before that the chairman or former chairman of Macdonalds Inc used to be a verteran of the Vietnam war and he hates Vietcon to the max. He said before that Mac will never invest in Vietnam. Heard before that some rich Viet Kieus in US wanted to buy the Mac franchise to start in Vietnam, but was rejected flat. KFC has been there when i arrived in 2002, heard that its a branch out of KFC franchise in Singapore.
