Well, I think maybe they don't want trouble from the pimps or boycott from other customers, but since we look Korean, no one else will know that she has serviced a non-Korean if we don't speak in English loudly. BTW, this is not just for cheonging. I've had the same treatment even when going to some of the eateries that are along the smaller streets in Seoul.
