Flood warning for South Thailand

The National Disaster Warning Centre has issued a warning for some provinces in the South to brace for flash floods and forest run-off on Oct 19-21

Provinces of particular attention are Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla.

Government authorities should be on stand-by to provide assistance to the people, the centre said.
