Newbie in Hatyai needs some advise from senior bros.

I am going there tonight for the weekend. Given that this is the start of the school holidays, I thought may be best to book via local tour agent first. So called up Lovely Tour.

After some bargaining, we agreed on 820 baht per night for 2 nights. But she say since I am arriving at night, taxi fare will be 330. Thought it is bit above mkt but still agreed.

Then she call me later & say no driver coz late. So must pay 400. Feeling carrot-head but still agreed as it is convenient for newbie. Five mins ago, she called me, say driver wants 500.

Really pissed & told her to FO. I know going to be Robert but this is just too much.

Can I check with bros, is this normal? I am only agreeing to pickup as it is the only way to buy vouchers as tour agents are closed. Is tger Amy chance for me to get taxi & hotel vouchers from airport?
