Ya by cab, if u want bus also can....but cab not that ex there. All cabs are by meter, it is a law there, but u want u can pay him a fix rate to bring u around Xiamen. 99% will use meter, if the cab driver demand a sum rather than using meter, if u r mean u can ask him to drive u to the nearest police station... else just ignore him, cabs are plenty in Xiamen.
This hotel no comment cause never heard or stay there b4.. the hotel is located in which road?

Tourist spot,
1) Gu Lang Yu... very beautiful island.
2) U can take a ferry that will take u to the strait between Jinmen (Taiwan) and Xiamen.
3) Take a cab, n ask him to drive u along Huan Dao lu...
4) Nan Pu Tuo Shi, a very famous temple in Xiamen... u can visit the temple n climb the mountain.. this is defintely higher than our bukit timah hill.
5) Shopping in Zhongshan lu.

If u want other 'thing', ger, condom n any other thing, trust me he can get all those which u can't get in s'pore) If u think he provide good service, just tip him 50-100. The best n I always advice my friends when they going Xiamen, Bei Fang Bin Guan. It's a 2 stars hotel abt 180RMB a night. But I suggest u spend 2 nights in Fuzhou. Ask the cab driver drive u to Bei Fang Bin Guan, n on the right of the hotel, he can c an office selling coach ticket. A coach leaves for Fuzhou every hour. It will take u 4 hrs to reach Fuzhou. I been to Fuzhou abt 3 times, n everything there is cheaper but less developed.
