just wanna advise you.
only threads in picture/link exchange plaza you can post pictures there.
for threads in other sections like this one, you can see that it is under "adult discussions about sex", you can only post links so you don't see the yellow icon to post picture.
just my 2 cents' worth
oh, and the proper way to post a picture is to add [img] in front of and [/img] behind of the image link.
e.g :
