About the tample u can go lovely tour or any other tour agents n book a taxi to (WAT NATA WEE) at 1200bht for a round trip, travel time from hat yai town to there is around 40mins, but ask the tour agent to help u to call the temple first whether the monk is in or not, I think the visiting time is 9am to 5pm. I buy the number he gave me only miss by one last number if not I kana first prize. Too bad maybe after visiting him I go n call chicken that's why didn't kana. Sad.
