1. Yes, but please bargain/fix the cab fare up front, pay only when you dun need his service anymore or when you reached Batam Centre to return to Sg
2. Yes. ask for Ah Hui. Pay up when you leave the joint.
3. Only pay the driver when you don't need his service anymore; amount is fixed before hand. Tip gal about Rp30,000 - Rp80,000 (S$6 - S$16) depending on your wish/wallet .... dun spoil the market hor ... hehee
4. Get a ferry schedule from WTC when you buy the ferry ticket or ask the hotel reception staff, different ferry companies has different timings.
