Actually u need not refer to yrself as "toi..." which is formal.. eg speaking to a stranger.
When speaking to a gal, u refer to yrslf as "Anh" - eg A kg co tien (in abbreviated sms).
Certain expressions r useful to know:
kg co ji - it's ok
kg van de - no problem (used more in hanoi)
