Was in HCMC over the weekend.
Went with 3 other guys to Fortune Hotel KTV at 700 Tran Hung Dao. Room looks ok, Girls good, almost all can speak Chinese. KTV system not so good... took them nearly 30 mins to get it to working condition. Remote Control in Chinese, songs mostly Chinese, very limited Viet songs (so not a place for Carrot and Botarbolampar). We order 1 bottle of Macllan, sing for 2 hours, total damage VND 3mil. Bottle of Macallan is VND1.6mil only but they actually charge something like VND150k for each girl that sits with u!!

Overall, i think this way... if you just going to Cat walk with a few good friends just to enjoy singing songs, then this Fortune hotel KTV is a good alternative because of cheaper price... but if you want more fun, then there are many other "local KTV" and Bia-oms that will give you a lot better Bang-for-the-bucks.
