Yes, you should avoid Sundays due to the many workers gawking at the ladyboys.
Unfortunately being a caucasian or Japanese will be a disadvantage to you because the ladyboys will charge you $50. If you go to Geylang red-light area you will face the same discrimination; $80 instead of $50, $200 dollars instead of $150. If you go to Orchard Towers you pay $200 to $300 dollars but locals pay half the price. Also being outside the gate will make things difficult to negotiate with the ladyboys especially when the two Chinese lookouts next door will be listening and observing you. Maybe I suggest that you go very late, before closing time, like midnite and see if they are willing to lower their price.
If you are really caucasian you should be making decent money in Singapore. Surely $50 is not too much to ask? The cheapest the LBs will charge is $20 for the Indian/Bangladesh workers on Sundays. So unless you are willing to use black shoe polish on yourself......just joking, no offense.
