Just catching up now on the thread since around late January when I stopped reading last time.

Has anyone here tried the hair salons on Cong Quynh just off Tran Hung Dao in D1? If yes, what kind of services are on offer? I have to say, these places do look a bit shady, in a good way. ;-) There are about 4 of them on that one block before the circle, three on one side of the street and one opposite (near the circle).

I saw a post a ways back re Apocalypse Now, and how the FL's there are old and ugly and expensive, and how this is something that supposedly appeals to Ang Moh.

I (an Ang Moh) avoid that place for exactly the same reason you all should. What those girls appeal to are inexperienced tourist types, especially older ones or younger ones with their beer goggles on. It might be true that America, Australia and Europe have a higher % of those types, but it's more a matter of experience and developed taste than race or whatever. If you and I went out together, I'd probably be going for exactly the same girls you would. More Catwalk type, or 16.
