From what I was told by various Vn gals,,,what they expect from their husbands is they and the children (if any) are taken care of. Not their parents. I mean help a little bit here and there can lah,,even my guy frens in hanoi say the same thing,,they are expected to look after the wife and children,,,that is their own family.

So its quite an eye opener for me that the wives expect their family to be taken care off too,,,that means they need at least a millionaire husband in USD/Euro...

And also,,,Vn gals treat their husbands well, will do the shopping and bargaining etc..and with the few gals i went out with,,,they do not mind if we go restaurants or road side stalls for meals,,often with the gals,,they suggest the cheaper places,,,but when I make the decision etc,,,is a disaster as its expansive and they dont seem happy,,,I believe good gals help save money,,,bad ones spend and sleep around,

So far I like what I see(with Vn gals) but I mean I dont have much experience with dating Vn gals,,its just my limited opinion. Or is it as its the 1st few dates as its the honeymoon-lovey-dovey period?

bro, this will very much depend on the family background of the vietnam gals that our fellow bros marry. Most of our brothers here marry gals from the south and often, they got to know them from discos , KTV or other night spots. Gals who work in this line, often, are saddened by family burden and thus chosen the easiest way to earn money with their limited education. Thus when these brothers marry these southern vietnamese gals, they have to take over the job/ burden of supporting their families in Vietnam.

From my experience, northern gals are often more educated. That's the reason why you find lesser northern gals working in night spots in singapore or other countries (i mean relative to southern vietnamese gals). if the family can spend more money to support the lady for higher education, they are mostly not in need of the daughter to feed them.
