Three arrested for making fake foreign liquor

Ho Chi Minh City’s Hoc Mon District Police Tuesday arrested three men on charges of making fake foreign liquor.

Nguyen Hoang Giang, 30, from Tra Vinh Province in the Mekong Delta, and Nguyen Tan Phat, 31, and Duong Phu Thanh, 22, both from HCMC, were caught making the fake liquor on Monday by the municipal Economic Management Police, in cooperation with the district police.

The police confiscated almost a thousand bottles of fake foreign liquor, more than 200 empty bottles and raw materials.

The municipal police have assigned the district police to further investigate the case.
