Bro, as mentioned earlier, different people has different point of view & different level of tolerance (tolerance over waiting time & causes of inconvenience etc).
For me who takes FREE transport provided by hotel, i will also say 8k rupiah is high too.
(believe me, i have been arguing for a long time with bro Blackpage in this thread over the issue of 10k rupiah taxi fare savings about 9 to 10 years ago & we are still friends today)
I often tell my friends who are with me in Batam, focus on the informative topic in this thread (& online) and not on the person who shares it.

I am not sure about others but i have been paying almost the same price before-covid-time and after-covid-time on girls in Batam (& Singapore too).
Ferry prices may have gone up by almost triple (for me & friends) but hotel prices has come down for me. Hence, it somehow evens the odd.
I used to visit Batam 3 to 4 times a month, but today i only visit it once a month. Then again, the number of days i am in Batam is still quite similar to visiting Batam 3 to 4 times a month.

Believe me, same girl in Batam can charge different prices to different customers at different times. And same girl serving different man, service level can also be different too. Different dick in the same hole, also different feelings, right?
On top of this, girls turnover rate also quite high in Batam's entertainment entities too. So why recommend any places to others? I don't do that anymore. I dont even keep most girl's contact number.

Hehehe...if your budget is around S$78 per pop, no harm trying. My Batam motto is try one time no good, it does not mean whole place (or other girls in there) is not good. Only thing my budget is very much lower, only "100k rupiah HJ and 200k rupiah FJ", thats why i cannot afford to try.
* i still use back the same 10 years ago slogan "my friend tells me Batam hj is 100k and fj is 200k" on google translate everywhere i go in Batam.
