Bro, I went last night and did not encounter any such issue. Took upstairs Room 5 although my entrance fee only $58. Maybe your timing salah, could be the upstairs rooms all full at that time you went.
Also cannot be last week just change to new management, it's been the same management for at least the past half year. Saw the same lady boss on my way in. ps. my ML was sedap!
