For me this trip is my 1st trip back to Batam after covid, so no high expectations and consider this a learning trip.
Day 1 is no action day as evening time were raining and money changers were closed as per bro nono mentioned. From Harbor bay to hotel, took a bike ride and cost 20K. During the ride, rider keeps on asking intro girls.
Day 2: Also a raining day. Most money changers were opened but rates bad at 11200. Some money changers even offered 11100 Manage to exchange small amounts at Nagoya mall first to tide over these few days till rates go back to normal.
Taxi was still the expensive option as just for a ride back to hotel from Nagoya requires 50K while grab is just 22k. Upon hearing that, just said bye bye to the driver.
Choose to walk back hotel to refresh the area and the various locations.
Went for massage and the rate is 175K for 1 hour session. The girl hinted want extend the session to add on, but it will be additional charges on top of the 175K. I rejected as the girl is not my type of food, so the session just ended without any extra. At least the massage is good and make me feel relax.
For food wise, i always go Nagoya food court to makan. Per meal is always less than 50k.
