Well, if you think going early is bad advice, so be it.
The timing itself is rather subjective due to your time of arrival in Batam, travelling time to booking joints, meals, shopping and other personal reasons. You should know that the ceweks need rest and do their chores after a busy night. So, arriving early usually implies a time from just before noon to early afternoon before the arrival of the bigger groups and this will also depend on whether it is weekend or public holidays here or in Batam. Even, the weather plays a part. So, do not be too smart.
