Home internet charges are cheap. There are telcos like FPT, SPT and Viettel.
Dont need to go for unlimited plan, which is around 25-50SGD. Just go for the cheapest plan, which the maximum you end up paying is less than 20-35SGD. Unless you use internet for heavy downloads and long hours surfing(more than 8 hours), those limited plans are good enough.
SPT pricing is much cheaper than FPT. But FPT offers more freebies and more stable connections. Viettel you can skip it - it is a inbetween with no advantage.
But you need to pay around 200SGD for the ADSL modem and setup fee hor. Dont get the lousy ADSL modem, get the ADSL2 modem. FPT and SPT will insist that you get the better modem.
