I have to somewhat agree with this but thou with a different interpretation
It was a good & meaningful idea at the inception as it provides a means of expressing our online gratitude to forum posters that contribute positively to the forum but as life goes it slowly "evolves" into something that others will abuse as with most things in life
Forumners start to go around actively asking to exchange points instead of gaining it the old-fashioned way, and now there are even much faster ways i.e. real monetary donations & walah!!!! you get instant POWDERFUL senior status
(to qualify myself I do also exchange with others that had PM me directly as I do believe in positive reciprocal actions but only thing different is that I do not actively go around canvassing on purpose

Not saying this is right or that is wrong as everybody is entitled to their own views & actions, but just that this also always happens in real life where if there is a loophole most people will exploit it so much so that the original well-intentioned purpose becomes moot
