Aiyoh, most Hdy hotels no abf except LG and Novotel (THE hotel in Hdy, atas pricing 1300++). Unlike Bkk. Norm or SOP is go outside for your noodles, bak kut teh, tim sum, roti prata (bit diff style) etc -all for a song la.
Kiss Channel is a good bet for live music, coyotes. Other live music places Deep Wonder, Pubb (centre of town) and WestSide (pop rock music) for a beer is great. Be adventurous, try stylo Bar Berry (penthouse type bikini clad dancers) at Hansa -but beware you will harassed for $$ LDs + hanging flowers. Also cafe lounges like Valentine (My Home) and Volvo (next to Sakura Grand View). Not cheapest, but can look see. At least you have been there, done it.
