Well, since Benson aka Mr.Romance brought the situation one level up, I have no choice but to go along.
By the way, 2 days after the guy he engaged called me, I made a police report as I think that is the proper thing to do.
I told the police that Benson was a former friend who has invested $1250 together with several friends in a business venture. And I also told the police that our relationship turn sour probably due to the reason that he discovered that I had earned commissions from the girls he booked for sexual pleasures in Hat Yai and that one of the girls in now his spouse living with him in Singapore.
Since I’ve checked with one69shot who said he has nothing to do with it, I figured that Benson increased the amount to $6,000 probably to “claim” back the commissions and also the amount he paid to the brothel owner as “tea money” and that he was also upset as he thought that I posted pictures of his wife on the internet. I told the police that I did not do that since she has already stop working as a prostitute and is now his wife.
Since the police asked me whether Benson was a loan shark, I told them honestly that I do not know. Only that Benson has told me that he has together with some other, loan out money to earn interest of 20% per month which in the eyes of the law, is illegal money lending.
I did not tell them that I know he does have an internet account for betting football and that he was once also a runner for 4D. Maybe I’ll tell them after I meet up with his “loan collector” as the police told me to keep them informed if the situation warrants.
By the way, his loan collector called me up several times and since we will be meeting, I will suggest to them to meet in Benson’s home lah. If they are legal debt collectors, there should be any problems with that.
I also have half a mind to drop by Benson’s home in the evening or night, maybe talk with his parents on the situation of the case to ask their opinions and I will also give them the only CD copy that I have of Fon so as to prove to them that I was not the one who posted her pictures and in future, if such pictures appear, not to find me. If his parents want, I may direct them to the farm where Fon formerly work to prove that I did not earn any “tea money”.
I think this is the best method to clear the air once and for all.
By the way, I have no problem with putting up Benson’s phone number (in my police report) since he gave my number to complete strangers who called me at different times of the day and night.
If he wants to raise the issue any bar higher, I will raise it ten bars higher.
