Technically in my humble opinion may be 2 different things although seems to be inter-related
This 5G may potentially replace the backend between the provider and homes/establishments instead of the fibre required to be install now, but most homes/establishments may still have a central router to transmit wifi to share instead of everybody having their own 5G data line as it is just not economically viable
Moreover I believe most people will rather sit in a cafe or business establishment that provides free wifi instead of using their own data plan tio bo (aka leech
