Horrific footage shows Vietnamese people hacking a monkey's skull open and eating its brains

This shocking video shows the moment a group of people crack open a monkey's skull before eating the animal's brains.

The clip, shot in Vietnam's Nghe An province, shows a young man hacking at the poor creature"s head with a butcher"s knife as it lies, still alive, chained up on a log.

The monkey, which is covered in a pink cloth, at first appears to struggle and makes final desperate squeaks of terror as the man continues to batter it with the 12-inch blade.
