Hey guys! Off to Taipei in a month.

Came across this article and not sure if this is a) real or b) really old.

The article's TL;DR;
Hotel offers to find you some "company" for a nightly fee. Multiple shots, $500 USD.

Things I'd like to find out:

1. Could someone help me verify whether this was common practice? Or should I just go with an outcall?
2. The services here seem to only offer hourly rates. Are there overnight services available?
