I know which location you referring to coz I recognise it from the CCTV images that I was asked to view.
Last friday I was at Cantonment for interview and after the Q & A session I was ask to view CCTV images. At my previous interview I was given several mugshots and CCTV images to identify but this time they brought out a laptop to put in front of me. It had probably thousands of images as I spent more than an hour viewing the images and was able to only browse through a tiny portion of the database. Luckily they had facial recognition software which made the viewing easier. I was impressed when they found a facial shot of me taken at Giffard Mansion and used the FRS to do a search. More than 30 other images of myself taken at other different locations on different days appeared on screen. Hahaha.... caught redhanded on CCTV and no way to deny.
There was another image of a guy whom I recognise when I visited had an FL at Evon Mansion along Geylang road. The FL had a room in one of the units there but the toilet was next to the kitchen. After doing the deed when I went to shower, I saw this guy at the kitchen bare bodied and cooking noodles. When I queried the FL about that guy she replied it is alright as he is her boss friend and drops by often. As I was leaving this guy came out of the kitchen and stared at me so that's why I have impression of him. When I saw his image on the laptop I told the officer and he did an FRS search on him. This guy had more than a hundred images of him appeared at more than 30+ locations. The officer smiled and told me they know who he is and has been keeping tabs on him. Apparently he is working for one of the syndicates and goes around the various locations to collect dues from the FLs.
While viewing the images I also spotted a few faces whom I recognised. I do not know them personally but have seen them around my neighbourhood and workplace. Btw most of the images are of people entering the various locations and I suspect these are fellow cheongsters who were unfortunate to have their images captured on CCTV. How they were able to amass such a huge collection of several thousands of images is really amazing.
