I was quoted more than that when I stayed at Harris Waterfront after I missed the free shuttle service.
Just recently during my stay at Amaris Nagoya, took a taxi to BCS at 20k but on the way back, the mafia like row of taxis in front of BCS demanded 40k!!! with the chief complaining that I was stingy.
When taking the taxi to Harbour Bay from Nagoya, taxi driver demanded another 20k for entrance/car park charges on top of the agreed price at $40k. Gave me a very black face when I refused.
