stay at the silverland sakyo spa hotel. rated 4 star and is in japan town of district 1. girl friendly, didnt even keep her id.
its next to the sky garden service apartment which is almost wholly inhabited by nihonjin. checked it out and the studio rate is 16usd per night with no minimum stay. great with japanese supermarket down stairs and haagen das next door. next to this is a service apartment called Lancaster which is newly opened.the reception is new and couldnt quote a rate but did give me a card to call the sales department.
eating in this area is great.went to the famous 4P pizza restaurant with reservation and the food is good. there is also a noodle shop directly across the street. miu miu massage is just around the corner. strictly business only and patronage is japanese and local europeans.
thinking of going back during the coming long weekend.
anyone want to stay there the reception told me to call direct and negotiate a better rate than agoda the next time. they gave me free airport transfer to the airport due to some minor cockup when i checked in.
next trip will stay at sky garden which at that rate includes toiletries and bed sheet change. laundry is extra. those interested, the gym is in the Lancaster.
