but to be honest, I had many years of back pain. It was so bad to the extent of calling my missus to use her entire body weight to press my back on a daily basis. But since going to do acupuncture about 2 years ago, the pain stopped and I hadn't needed any massages from her since.

However, you'll need to find a good acupuncturist. You'll know when you meet one.
haha... wow

I had to hunch around like a old man. My ocassional visits to the doc would have my condition brush off as bad seating posture etc. It was only a visit to my Chinese sinseh that got the alarm sounded off. He had warned me against doing anymore physical exercise like jogging, I was actually doing 5km three times a week. But the pain during jogging got so bad that it felt like a knife was been stabbed into my lower back. Funny thinking back, it never occur to me to seek any med opinion, again i put it down to muscle strain, how i regret this decision now.

Following my sinseh advise I went to a specialist who got me to do an MRI, it was during this that I found out that my disc condition got so bad that it had totally degenerate. Now there is nothing cushioning both veterbrate, the pain is a perpetual one at the lower back. Doc has advise me not to got for ops if pain is bearable. So now I visit my TCM chiro once a month just to let him "crack" here and there.
Bro, I had an xray done, mri also done, but nothing found.. its just I have this serious ache at my lower back, especially if I do not stretch once in awhile (once in few hours or less).. and whenever I stretch, I can feel the 'crack' followed by a 'lengthen' sensation
