涉嫌在组屋内卖淫 四女郎被逮捕

（联合早报网讯）宏茂桥一个组屋单位怀疑被用作卖淫活动，四名中国籍女子被逮捕，其中一人还未 成年。

宏茂桥警署人员星期一（2日）晚上9时30分左右对宏茂桥6道一个组屋单位进行扫荡，逮捕了四名女子和一名 男子，他们涉嫌参与卖淫活动。

警方刚发文告说，四名年龄介于17至26岁的女子在网上刊登卖淫广告，她们因在组屋单位内提供性服务而遭逮 捕。据了解，四名女子都来自中国，他们是持旅游签证入境我国的。

另外，一名39岁男子因涉嫌与18岁以下未成年少女进行性交易而被捕。警方也在案发现场搜获总值1024元 的现金，以及手机等证物。

警方表示，还在对五名嫌犯进行调查。

任何人涉嫌经营或协助经营妓院，一旦罪名成立，可被判罚款最高1万元、坐牢最长5年，或两者兼施。与18岁 以下未成年男女索取性服务的嫌犯，一旦罪成，则可被判监禁不超过七年、罚款，或两者兼施。（本报记者：林子 恒）
